Hair Transplantation :

Radiance Hair Clinic is the best Hair Transplantation Clinic in Andhra Pradesh
Hair transplantation is a simple & superficial procedure that involves extracting live root bearing hair follicles from the donor area (back & sides of the head) and implanting them on to the recipient area (bald area). These transplanted hair roots behave and grow similarly to the hair from where they are extracted.
After re-growth, these transplanted hairs can be managed just like natural, existing hair. They can be shampooed or dyed and doesn’t require any medicines to maintain growth. Even after complete shaving or tonsuring, these hairs will grow back and continue to do so for the rest of the life.
It is primarily aimed to treat baldness in both men and women. It is also used to restore eyebrows, moustache and beard and to fill the scars caused by accidents, burns and surgeries like facelifts etc…
As the hair follicles grow in groups of 1 to 4 or 5 today’s most advanced techniques help in transplanting these groups of follicles also called as Follicular Units (grafts) and thus achieving almost natural looking

Male Pattern Baldness | Causes of Male Pattern Baldness | Facts of Male Pattern Baldness

Male Pattern Baldness

Male pattern baldness causes about 90% of all hair loss for men. The result is either a receding hairline or thinning hair at the top of the crown of the head.

Facts of Male Pattern Baldness :
  • Right now, nearly 40 million men in North America are experiencing male pattern baldness.
  • Atleast half of all men will experience some type of hair loss by age 50.
  • After age 50 years, the number of men experiencing male pattern baldness climbs significantly and hair loss is progressive.
Causes of Males Pattern Baldness

Male pattern baldness is caused by a chemical called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT builds up around hair follicles, thinning hair and ultimately stopping hair growth.Eventually the follicle shuts down altogether, stopping hair growth completely.

Your resistance to DHT is basically genetic. If you have relatives on either side of your family who are balding or have thinning hair, there's a pretty good chance you'll experience the same thing, at some point in your life.

Tips for Hair Loss Prevention

Most people think about preventing hair loss only after they have lost a lot of it. But if you start early (like when you still have a head full of hair) it works out a lot easier both emotionally and financially. In fact, the truth is - preventing hair loss is a simpler process than treating hair loss.

Here are a few things you can do to prevent your hair from falling:

1. Follow a Healthy Lifestyle

Hair, like your skin and your nail, is often a barometer of general health. If you are healthy, your hair will probably look good. And if your hair is falling, it could be a sign of possible health problems.

So everything you do for good health also applies to hair: Eat fruits and vegetables (Vitamin B, Iron, Calcium and Zinc have especially been linked to healthy hair); always consume a protein-rich diet (hair is made of proteins), and drink adequate water.

2. Take care of your hair

Dirty hair is more likely to get infected and more likely to fall – so keep your hair clean. Buy good-quality shampoo and hair products (in the long run this is cheaper than treating hair that is already half gone). When you shampoo your hair, concentrate on the scalp and hair roots. When applying a conditioner or hair lotion, it is better to concentrate on the ends of your hair (which tend to dry out faster and are more vulnerable to the damage that comes from exposure).

Trimming you mane regularly helps your hair look and feel better. Besides, it’s also a long “bye-bye” to those annoying split ends!

3. Avoid things that are bad for your hair

This seems so obvious it should not need telling. But it apparently does need to be told again because many of us unknowingly adopt several unhealthy hair-practices:

Wearing styles that pull the hair tight (usually into braids or pony tails). Many women pull their hair so tight it actually comes out of its roots. If you change your hairstyle soon enough, your hair will recover. Otherwise, your hair might permanently stop growing from the areas it is pulled most from.
Any chemical treatments (even so-called ‘herbal’ ones) designed to drastically change the way your hair looks (styling, perming, straightening, hot-oil treatments, hot ironing).
Blow-drying your hair – this dries out the scalp and damages hair follicles. Allow your hair to air dry at least part of the time, or change the heat setting on your blower to the lowest.
Combing your hair or rough toweling when its wet – this will put out some hair strands from the roots and stretch and break others.

4. Home treatments for healthy hair

Make a paste of henna, curd, soaked and ground fenugreek, ground hibiscus flowers, ground gooseberries, and egg (all of them or any one) and apply it onto the hair and scalp for about an hour before shampooing. Done regularly, this will make your hair stronger and better-looking. But remember that henna is suitable only for dark colored hair because it tints hair red.
Wash the hair out with decoction of tea or a bit of lemon squeezed into the water in which you will bathe. (for dandruff).
Apply coconut or almond oil. If doing this daily does not appeal to you, apply the oil on the scalp overnight before shampooing, or apply a drop to the top of your head before you comb out your hair.

Never ever take your hair for granted. The adage “Prevention is better than cure” fully applies to your hair too. Remember, you will sorely miss those beautiful tresses if you let them go away!

How to Stop Hair Loss Naturally

Hair loss is a common problem affecting millions of people. Most sufferers opt for chemical or drug treatments to curb this problem.Other try to study how to stop hair loss naturally. While a majority of the drugs are available over the counter, some require a doctor’s prescription. Many of these products are indeed effective in reducing and stopping hair fall; but they are expensive and require continued use for seeing lasting results.

By choosing natural products, you can avoid such adverse side effects. Here we shall discuss how to stop hair fall naturally

Balanced Diet

In many cases, the hair loss stems from an improper diet, lack of physical activity etc. Depending on the severity of your hair loss, a doctor will perform a blood test that can help determine the deficiencies causing the hair loss in the first place.

Doctors generally ask patients to incorporate the following items in the diet:
  • Carrots-Not only are carrots good for the eyes; this vitamin-A rich root is also excellent for the hair.
  • Prunes-These are packed with iron and can help improve the quality of the hair.
  • Oats- Oats are rich in fiber and also have a high concentration of zinc, iron, and omega-6 fatty acids. All these are essential for good skin and also promote hair growth and development.
  • Sea food-There is no doubt that fatty fish like salmon and other sea food including shrimp etc are packed with loads of Vitamin B12, iron, zinc etc. All these can provide you with nourishment necessary to prevent hair fall.
  • Walnuts- These are rich in all the B-vitamins as well as iron, zinc etc. People often suffer from hair fall when they are selenium deficient and walnuts can help overcome this deficiency.

Hot oil treatment for the scalp

Other major reasons for hair loss are underlying problems of the scalp region. These include dryness, flaking, dandruff etc. In many countries like China and India, ancient scriptures have stressed the use of natural oils for massaging the scalp on a weekly basis.

Oil massages can help overcome dryness and, with regular use, many patients have seen improved hair texture as well as reduced hair fall. Here are the steps to be followed for hot oil scalp treatment:
  •     Start by warming the oil of your choice; it should not be exceedingly hot-just warm and within your comfort zone.
  •     Using a cotton ball, or your fingers, massage the oil all over the scalp. This can help stimulate blood circulation and keep the hair follicles active.
  •     Now, take a towel and dip it in hot water. Squeeze out the excess water and wrap your hair in the same. Alternatively, you can simply cover your head with a shower cap; doing this will help the scalp absorb the oils.
  •     After a few hours, wash off your hair using a mild shampoo.
  •     Repeat the treatment every once a week.

Natural herbs

There are many naturally occurring ingredients like Saw Palmetto which give the same benefits that you get from drugs like Minoxidil.

Saw palmetto is known to block its production and was, in fact, first used by Native American Indians for maintaining healthy hair and skin.

Another herb that is very popular in staving off baldness and promoting hair re-growth is Nettle root. Nettle can also block production of the hair loss causing hormones and works in a similar manner to Saw palmetto.

Meditation for Stress Control

Often, the thought of hair loss itself is enough to cause worry and anxiety; this, in turn, leads to more hair loss. Many doctors prescribe meditation and yoga for overcoming such stress. Studies have shown that meditation can actually restore hormonal balance in our bodies. This can not only help prevent hair loss but also has advantages in other aspects of life.

It is often better to use natural products to stop hair fall, rather than opting for expensive drugs and chemicals that may not always show results.
